The agreement, which covers the next two years, is the Austrian firm’s first incursion into Spanish tennis.
VALENCIA, 19th April 2012. The Valencia Open 500 and Power Horse have reached an agreement for Power Horse to be the only official energy drink for the tournament in 2012 and 2013. The Austrian company’s product will be featured on all the tournament’s graphic and online material as well as on the fences around the centre court, which once again will be constructed in the Agora building.
Power Horse is thus making its first incursion into the tennis world in Spain on the occasion of the Valencian tournament, which this year is celebrating its tenth edition and its fourth time as an Open 500 event. The presence of Power Horse at the Valencia Open 500 further underscores the brand’s commitment to sport in general and tennis in particular. The firm’s association with this sport is already well-known, as one of its ambassadors is German player Philipp Kohlschreiber, and it is also the main sponsor of the Power Horse World Team Cup, a team tournament held in the German city of Düsseldorf in May.
